As Cramlington and
Tynemouth already run a championship event it may be
possible to allow one of the other clubs to run the meeting. (Alnwick)
Treasurer’s Report
No
report not at meeting
Secretary’ Report Have sent 2nd draft copy returned for approval. Sounds
positive that we can run with new classes.
Championship
Co-ordinator’s Report as secretary’s
regarding Permit for Championship. On positive note we already have one
registered competitor from the Borders.
Past Events
Nothing to report.
Coming Events Berwick event possibly at East Ord. Berwick to
confirm nearer date.
A.O.B
D.Wellden checked whether
committee new about the cancellation of the event that Cramlington was due to
host in August 28-29th.
D.Wellden asked
for a comment from members who were in attendance how they thought the season
went. (Due to report back to MSA)
G.Harriason said
he thought it ran quite well. There would be very little if any changes needed.
Believes that some
people will still pass comment particularly with the current changes.
Colin Salkeld will
do main events
G. Harrison: Noise test at all events will add to the
cost,
G. Harrison
believed that there would be 3 new starters in the juniors including G.
Johnson.
G.Harrison
discussed possibility of outing an environmental charge on the entry to cover
cost of noise scrutineer.
Hopefully Karl to
organise Marshalls for the season.
Discussion on
training fore marshals. MSA no longer offer training. It is in the hands of a
regional rep .Onus is on club to contact them to organise training sessions.
Cramlington going
to try to stop non essential vehicles entering the pits. Only tow vehicle and
trailer to be allowed in, no additional vehicles. Last year there was little
room in the pits for cars to manoeuvre.
